Solar Eclipse 4/8/24

Welcome to my new blog…

I started blogging years ago, but my gosh I needed to take space from this process as every time I tried to write something it felt forced or inauthentic. I think that’s a totally normal part of the creative process, where it becomes more important to listen to the guidance to take space.

But now, I see it’s time start finding my voice, expressing my experience. Maybe it will have value you for some of you reading this… maybe not. Let’s see!

This eclipse passage has been…. well, let's just say… HUGE.

I can’t tell if it’s just (a) me approaching my Saturn return, (b) or if it’s the eclipse, or (c) if it’s graduating from college, or (d) if it’s just all. of. the. above…

I’m gonna go with (d) all of the above.

As a part of the Hall of Mirrors community at The White Rabbit Reveals, we each participate in a process called By The Light of The Moon. We are assigned multiple full moons, new moons, and eclipses where we practice connecting with the energies present and communicating them via a reading, channeling, a creative project, etc. We share these creations with each other and are also being encouraged to share them with the general public.

These exercises are not always easy for me. As much as I love doing readings and channeling for clients, there is something different about these BTLM posts. The fact that I know weeks in advance which moon I am going to be writing out, I watch myself going through a process that I know I will need to write about or put into words. Which is something I love to do, but also find difficult. I only find it difficult when I am doing it for the wrong reasons.

In our work at TWRR we call this having “funky purposes”. These funky purposes are mainly invisible reasons we do the things we do. Our intentions…

Rather than the purpose just being to connect with my creative expression and to co-create with spirit — if there are purposes of wanting to be special, wanting to be perfect, wanting to be right, wanting to be superior, wanting to be the center of attention… my gosh it makes the process much harder.

To create in partnership with spirit, we have to get out of our own way.

It’s fascinating to watch the creation come alive on its own — at its own time and pace. I cannot rush it. I cannot force it to be what it doesn’t want to be. For example, I may think I want to do a tarot reading for this eclipse, but as I go to write about the cards, I feel a blockage. A lack of inspiration. A lack of life force.

If I listen to what the creation is asking of me — normally this comes from my body or my emotions (not my mind) — then I feel myself back in the flow. Back in partnership with spirit.

What an amazing metaphor for life itself.

That’s what these posts are teaching me — how to live my life more in the flow… how to live my life as a partner of my higher self. This requires giving up the need to be in control, to have life figured out beforehand.

How comfortable can we get in the unknown? This is what it means to be a true artist of your own life. To wake up each morning and embrace not knowing who we’re going to be…

This requires flexibility, adaptability, the capacity to mutate, transform, evolve.

I’ve seen this resistance pattern present in many my clients. There is this pressure to have the next steps of life planned out from the mental realm. But really, life is asking us to be present and to listen to our hearts.

Somewhere along this journey of life, we learned that listening to our hearts is not “practical”. We’ve been conditioned to doubt in the intelligence of our hearts. We doubt the power of the intuition. We forgot the LOGIC of the feminine. That there is a built-in-intelligence that knows what to do — that beats your heart without conscious thought, that breathes you, that births continents, that creates LIFE. This intelligence is the mind of nature. Which can be accessed within our hearts. Within our bodies.

To listen to this intelligence is to listen to truth.

So with that being said… here’s the channeled message from the Central Sun.
